Hello! Earth! How are you?
지구온난화와 기후변화는 오늘날 세계가 직면한 가장 중요한 문제입니다.특히 전 세계에서 가장 많은 양의 온실가스를 발생시키는 동아시아 지역에서 기후변화는 너무나도 중요한 문제입니다. 동아시아 지역에서 살고 있는 많은 사람들이 녹아내린 빙하부터 가뭄과 홍수에 이르기까지, 지구온난화와 기후변화로 인해 삶을 위협받고 있습니다.
트윈클 송도는 우리 학생들의 지구환경 보호에 관한 의식과 개선 아이디어를 들어보고자 이에 대한 스피치 콘테스트(비디오)를 개최합니다!
Contest Detail
Q. What should your speech be about?
Your speech should be about an environmental issue and how we can solve the problem. You may choose your own topic that connects to the theme of environmental issues, however here are some topics to get you started!
Grade 1~2
-Ocean Pollution / Overfishing
- Deforestaion
- Food packaging waste
Grade 3~5
-Toxic spills(oil,gas,etc)
- Overconsumption of clothes /fast fashion
- Richer countries selling trash to poorer countries.
Q. How long should your speech be?
Your speech should be no longer than 3 minutes long.
Q. What are the categories I can win a prize for?
You can win a prize for:
Most Compelling Argument - how well the student delivers the speech, fluency, pronunciation, etc.
Most Detailed Evidence - how well researched the speech is
Amazing Visuals - for students who went above and beyond and prepared a poster or costumes for their speech

The contest will start on April 10th. 콘테스트는 4월 10일 시작됩니다.

Video의 길이는 3분 정도면 됩니다.

Students must submit their first draft of the speech by April 19,20,or 21th (depending on when they come to class).
학생들은 첫번째로 작성한 시안을 4월 19,20,21일 수업이 있는 요일에 선생님에게 제출합니다

Students will receive an edited first draft by May 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
수정된 시안을 5월 1,2,3,4일에 수업이 있는 요일에 선생님에게 받게 될 것입니다.

Students will then have until May 12th to submit the video of their speech.
학생들은 5월 12일까지 비디오를 제출합니다.

Results and awards will come out by May 26th.
심사 결과는 5월 26일까지 발표됩니다.

수상자들에게는 트로피와 부상이 주어집니다.
